Resources For Referring Professionals
  • Vision Therapy Thumb
Vision therapy is often compared to physical therapy - but for the eyes and the visual system as a whole. It is a customized program made up of special lenses and focused exercises aimed at improving and building up visual functions.
  • What To Expect On Your First Visit Thumb
Neuro-optometric rehabilitation uses a highly-customized combination of visual exercises, specialized lenses, and targeted visual stimuli to retrain the patient’s brain to process visual input properly following brain injury or other neurological conditions affecting vision.
  • Binocular Vision Testing Thumb
During this visit, you will have a full vision health evaluation. We recommend that you bring in all your current eye wear and contact lens prescriptions, as well as any contact lens solutions, or eye drops you may be currently using.
  • Pediatric Vision Care Thumb
Vision is the global ability of the brain to extract, process and act on information presented to the eye. This complex process can be thought of as three major but related areas: visual acuity, visual efficiency skills, and visual information processing.
  • Neuro Optometric Rehab Thumb
Binocular testing is in addition to your eye examination.  We not only test for the most accurate refraction, but we probe the visual system to understand the dynamic visual abilities that are so critical to learning, reading, understanding and good performance in sports and work.
  • Visual Perceptual Evaluation Thumb
Once you or your child has been identified as a patient that may benefit from vision therapy, you will need to have further testing for visual processing. This “Visual Perceptual Evaluation” testing is approximately one and one half hour to two hours.
